Notes
Colonel Johns was a member of the 6th Air Commando Squadron. On June 28, 1968, he was the pilot of a Douglas Attack Skyraider (A-1H) on a mission over Laos when his aircraft crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
