Notes
Captain Johnstone was a member of the 20th Aviation Detachment (later the 131st Aviation Company). On November 19, 1966, he was the observer in a Grumman Mohawk Aircraft (OV-1A) on a reconnaissance mission over Attopeu Province, Laos when the aircraft crashed. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. CAPT Johnstone's remains have been recovered and interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
