Notes
Captain Midnight was a member of the 435th Tactical Fighter Squadron. On August 23, 1967, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4D) on a mission 5 miles southwest of Dong Hoi, Quang Binh Province, North Vietnam, when his aircraft was hit by hostile fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
