Notes

First Lieutenant Moldafsky was a crew member of a B-29 Superfortress Bomber with the 372nd Bomber Squadron, 307th Bomber Wing at McDill Air Force Base, Florida. On January 31, 1952, while on temporary duty at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, he served as a crew member of a B-29 Superfortress that was lost during a flight from Kadena to Korea. He was presumed dead on January 29, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
