Private First Class Posey was a member of Battery L, 4th Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in Korea on December 2, 1950. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial. PFC Posey's remains have been recovered and identified.
