Private First Class Reinsmith was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. After successfully completing the amphibious landing at Inchon, he was Killed in Action while attacking the enemy north of Seoul towards Uijongbu, South Korea on September 29, 1950.
