He was Killed in Action on October 17, 1944. His remains were repatriated after the war and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery. His father is buried at Section C, Row 5, Grave 40 and sister, Jeanette Mappin is buried at Section C, Row 10, Grave 40 .
