Sergeant First Class Sweetall was a member of Company A, 13th Engineer Combat Battalion, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy near Hoengsong, South Korea on February 12, 1951 and died of those wounds in a field hospital at Taegu, South Korea on February 21, 1951.
