Notes
Corporal Toth was a veteran of World War II, fighting in the Pacific. In Korea, he was a squad leader in Company I, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. On June 5, 1951, his unit was assaulting a hill near Hwachon, North Korea. He was leading the assault, when an enemy bullet struck him in the head killing him instantly.
