James Young was a man from England working as the quartermaster aboard the ship "SS FINLAND". He died on September 23, 1926, as a result of a steam-pipe explosion while aboard the vessel. He was initially buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
