Keep the Spirit Alive ‘45 Ceremony at Luxembourg American Cemetery

Luxembourg American Cemetery hosted a ceremony that included a wreath laying and remarks from Alison Shorter-Lawrence, chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg, and Constant Goergen, honorary president of the US. Veterans Friends of Luxembourg. An Honor Guard from the 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany also participated.

Luxembourg American Cemetery hosted a Keep the Spirit Alive ’45 ceremony on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. The U.S. Veterans Friends of Luxembourg (VFOL), along with a representative from the U.S. embassy, laid a wreath during the ceremony. Constant Goergen, honorary president of the U.S. VFOL, delivered remarks. Taps and the national anthems were also be played during the ceremony.
