The American Battle Monuments Commission Launches New Series of Videos of Cemeteries and Memorials

Published December 10, 2020

This week, the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) launched a new series of videos highlighting America’s overseas military cemeteries and monuments called the (re)Discover ABMC campaign

Commemorating the sacrifices of those who fought so valiantly, especially the fallen, is central to ABMC’s mission. Each and every headstone at ABMC cemeteries tells a story – not only a story of loss, but also one of service and sacrifice.

Throughout the winter, the (re)Discover video series will invite the public to join us in remembering and honoring the service and sacrifices of the U.S. Armed Forces through various conflicts. ABMC honors and safeguards their legacy at 26 cemeteries  and soon to be 31 monuments located in 17 countries, including three monuments in the United States.

ABMC invites you to (re)Discover the beauty, sanctity, and serenity of these cemeteries and monuments and to learn more about the fallen honored.
