New, Temporary Access Point to Visitor Center and Restrooms at Flanders Field American Cemetery

Due to the ongoing renovations at Flanders Field American Cemetery, access to the restrooms and temporary visitor center has changed. These areas are still accessible, however, visitors cannot access them from the main path that runs through the interior of the cemetery. Visitors must walk northeast along Bosstraat, the road that runs along the northeast side of the cemetery property. There will be a break in the fence on the right near the service area. Turn in here, and then walk south towards the temporary visitor center.

(On the map, the yellow area shows the location where the new service road is being laid.  This is the area that is not accessible. The red boxes are the locations of the temporary visitor center and restrooms. The blue arrows show the walking path to access these locations.)

Normal access to these locations is expected to be available by Friday, October 21, 2016. The cemetery will remain open during this work.
