Private First Class Raymore was a member of the 77th Field Artillery Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division. He was Killed in Action while supporting the 7th Cavalry Regiment's assault on the Chinese held hills on the east bank of the Imjin River near Kyeho-dong, North Korea on October 5, 1951.
