Private Bramblett was a member of the 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on June 25, 1953 and returned to duty on July 9, 1953. He was seriously wounded again on July 20, 1953 and died of those wounds on later that day.
