Private Sewer was a member of Company C, 13th Engineer Combat Battalion, 7th Infantry Division. On February 5, 1953 near Horggeye-Dong, Korea, he took cover behind a bulldozer when his area was being shelled. The impact of a shell caused the dozer to roll over killing him.
