Notes
Sergeant Adams was a member of Company L, 3rd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy as a member of Task Force Crombez near Chipyong-ni, South Korea on February 15, 1951 and died while a prisoner on June 24, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
