Notes
Corporal Allmaras was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy during an attack at "Line Idaho", South Korea on March 15, 1951 and returned to duty on March 19, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy at "Bunker Hill", South Korea on May 13, 1951 as a result of stepping on an enemy landmine. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
