Notes
Private First Class Armstrong was a member of Company I, 3rd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded in South Korea on September 18, 1950 and returned to duty on October 11, 1950. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in South Korea on November 30, 1950 and died while a prisoner on January 14, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
