Sergeant Clark was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Sergeant Clark was a member of Company A, 2nd Engineer Combat Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Kujang, North Korea on November 27, 1950. Sergeant Clark served two years in the U.S. Navy before joining the U.S. Army. His remains were recovered on May 18, 1999 and identified in 2000. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
