Master Sergeant Davidowski was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 19, 1950 and returned to duty on September 22, 1950. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in North Korea on November 28, 1950. He was presumed dead on January 5, 1954. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
