Notes
First Lieutenant Hickerson was a member of Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on September 10, 1950 and returned to duty on October 23, 1950. He was seriously wounded again on January 28, 1951 and died of those wounds the following day.
