Private Ramos-Cruz was a Light Weapons Infantryman in Company C, 1st Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in the Chorwon Area of North Korea on June 8, 1951.
