Sergeant Rublee was a Light Weapons Infantryman with Company B, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in Korea on September 1, 1950 and returned to duty later that day. He was seriously wounded again on September 23, 1950 and returned on October 8, 1950. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on December 28, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
