For his leadership and valor, Captain Scullion was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Korea War Service Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.

Notes

Captain Scullion was a veteran of World War II. In Korea, he was a member of Company A, 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while defending his position east of the Chosin Reservoir in North Korea on November 28, 1950. His remains were recovered in November, 2000 and identified October 17, 2007. CAPT Scullion's name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
