Chief Aviation Machinist's Mate Stevenson was a crew member of a PBM-5 patrol bomber with Patrol Squadron 46, U.S. Navy. He was Killed in Action on November 5, 1950. He was presumed dead on March 29, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
