Notes

Pfc. John A. Taylor was a member of Company C, 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on August 12, 1950. His remains were not recovered at the time. Through the work of the Defense Department of Defense, the remains of Pfc.Taylor were accounted for in 2018. His name is permanently inscribed in the “Courts of the Missing” at the Honolulu Memorial.
