Corporal Tucker was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
Notes
Corporal Tucker was a member of Company E, 2nd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in North Korea on November 26, 1950 and died of those wounds the following day. His remains were recovered on October 5, 205 and identified on June 17, 2011. His name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
