Notes

Corporal White was a member of Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy in North Korea on December 3, 1950 and died while a prisoner at Camp 1 on the south bank of the Yalu River on May 12, 1951 of malnutrition and dysentery. His remains have been recovered and identified. CPL White's name is permanently inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
